A powerful and reliable professional-class drill press. Thanks to the high quality of its parts and mechanisms, the machine offers excellent accuracy and durability indicators and can be used for mass production. The machine features a stable cast iron base with a 72 mm diameter column equipped with a rack and pinion for vertical table movement. The worktable, like the base, is made of high-quality cast iron. The table can rotate 360° around the column and tilt left/right within ±45°. The machine comes equipped with two drill chucks with double-taper spindles and a maximum clamping diameter of 20 mm. One of the chucks is keyless, professional-grade precision, while the second is a keyed chuck (for less demanding tasks). The uncompromising power of the asynchronous motor (750 W) allows for almost any drilling work to be performed at a professional level. Torque from the motor to the spindle shaft is transmitted via two V-belts through pulleys. There are 16 speed settings available to set the required rotation speed of the spindle shaft. To ensure safe operation, a safety switch is located under the belt drive gearbox cover, which prevents the machine from starting if the lid is open. For emergency stopping, a red mushroom-type emergency stop button is located on the front panel of the machine.
