Despite its compact size and light weight, the Kraissmann 351 DM 140/250 lathe is capable of machining workpieces up to 250 mm in length and up to 140 mm in diameter over the bed. It can be used to process products made of steel, alloys, hard plastics, etc. The lathe is ideal for home craftsmen and can be installed in a garage, workshop, or private house.
The lathe can also be used in small-scale production facilities that do not require continuous operation of the equipment.

The lathe is equipped with a brushed electric motor with smooth speed control. The machine features a three-jaw chuck with reverse jaws, a 4-position tool post, and a changeable gear head for cutting threads.
The chuck is protected by a transparent safety screen, which disconnects the power supply to the motor when lifted.
An emergency stop button is also located in an easily accessible place. Additionally, the lathe is equipped with a protective rear wall and a chip pan to collect shavings, preventing them from getting onto the ways.
